Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Motor Courier (Kurir Motor) to join our logistics team in the bustling Hub Pluit Barat area of North Jakarta. This role is essential to our fast‑moving e‑commerce and delivery network, ensuring that customers receive their orders quickly, safely, and with a professional touch. As a courier, you will be the face of our company on the streets, representing our commitment to punctuality, care, and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Pick up assigned parcels from the warehouse or partner stores and deliver them to the specified destinations within the Pluit Barat and surrounding neighborhoods.
- Verify that each package is in good condition before departure and handle items with care to prevent damage during transit.
- Use navigation tools such as Google Maps and company routing software to plan the most efficient routes, taking traffic patterns and delivery windows into account.
- Obtain recipient signatures or digital confirmations upon successful delivery, adhering to the company’s standard operating procedures.
- Report any delivery obstacles—such as traffic congestion, vehicle issues, or address discrepancies—immediately to the operations team to mitigate delays.
- Maintain a clean and well‑maintained motorbike, ensuring that the vehicle’s registration (STNK) and license (SIM C) are always up‑to‑date.
- Assist with on‑site cash‑on‑delivery (COD) transactions when required, handling money responsibly and following cash handling policies.
- Participate in brief daily safety meetings, share feedback on route performance, and contribute ideas for improving delivery efficiency.
- Keep the company‑provided Android smartphone charged and functional, as it is the primary tool for order tracking, navigation, and communication.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age of 45 years.
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C) and active vehicle registration (STNK).
- Own a reliable Android smartphone that meets the minimum operating system requirements for our logistics app.
- Clean appearance: no tattoos or body piercings that are visible while on duty.
- Strong sense of time management and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact politely with customers and internal teams.
- Basic literacy in Indonesian and familiarity with using GPS and map applications.
- Physical fitness to load and unload parcels safely, often in varying weather conditions.
