Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Excellence Manager (Manajer Keunggulan Manufaktur) to lead continuous‑improvement initiatives at our state‑of‑the‑art production facility in Kabupaten Grobogan. In this strategic role, you will partner with cross‑functional teams to drive lean transformation, enhance product quality, and increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). The ideal candidate possesses a solid engineering background, a proven track record of managing large‑scale improvement projects, and the ability to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute short‑term, mid‑term, and long‑term manufacturing excellence programs aligned with corporate strategic goals.
- Lead Value Stream Mapping (VSM) workshops to identify bottlenecks, waste, and opportunities for process standardization.
- Apply Industrial Engineering (IE) principles, Six Sigma DMAIC methodology, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM/DFP) to reduce cycle time and improve product reliability.
- Manage end‑to‑end improvement projects, from concept through implementation, ensuring measurable KPI improvements such as yield, throughput, and cost reduction.
- Coach and mentor production supervisors and operators in lean tools, fostering a culture of Kaizen and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality, and supply‑chain teams to align product design with manufacturing capabilities.
- Prepare regular performance reports and present insights to senior leadership, highlighting success stories and future opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations while driving operational excellence.
- Coordinate with external consultants or academic institutions for advanced training and benchmarking studies.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related scientific field.
- At least 5 years of hands‑on experience as a Manufacturing Excellence Manager or in a comparable continuous‑improvement role.
- Demonstrated expertise in VSM, Industrial Engineering, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), and DFM/DFP concepts.
- Proven ability to design and implement work‑plans covering short, medium, and long‑range horizons.
- Strong communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to convey complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
- Willingness to relocate and work on‑site in Kabupaten Grobogan.
