Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Officer (Marketing) to join our team in Lhokseumawe (Samudera Baru). This full‑time position plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by promoting our product portfolio to both existing and prospective customers. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between the company, its distribution channels, and end‑users, ensuring a seamless sales experience from initial contact through order fulfillment and post‑sale support. The role offers a competitive salary, a structured work schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00), and the opportunity to develop a robust professional network within the regional market.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and nurture relationships with existing customers and new prospects across the Lhokseumawe area.
  • Present and demonstrate the company’s product lines, highlighting key features and benefits tailored to customer needs.
  • Secure orders through various distribution channels, ensuring accurate entry of initial data and verification of customer documentation.
  • Prepare and complete credit application packages, coordinating with the finance department to expedite approvals.
  • Monitor the status of credit applications, providing timely updates to dealers and customers regarding decisions and next steps.
  • Communicate payment terms, due dates, and collection locations, while addressing any inquiries or concerns the customer may have.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to relay market feedback, emerging trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline forecasts using the company’s CRM system.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and regional trade events to continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Support after‑sales service by following up on deliveries, handling complaints, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (all majors accepted); recent graduates are welcome.
  • Age: 30 years or younger.
  • At least 1 year of relevant sales or marketing experience; experience in B2C environments is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to manage sales cycles, negotiate terms, and close deals effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building trust and rapport.
  • High integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty in all business dealings.
  • Valid driver’s license (SIM A/C) and personal vehicle for field visits.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently while aligning with team objectives.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is advantageous.
