Introduction
Jantrakakikaki, a leading automotive service network spanning Java and Bali, is seeking a dedicated Mekanik Depan – Bongkar dan Pasang to join our front‑end suspension team. This role focuses on the disassembly, inspection, and re‑assembly of front‑end components for a wide range of passenger and commercial vehicles. The successful candidate will work closely with the Kapten Mekanik, adhere to strict SOPs, and help maintain the high service standards that our customers expect.
Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00, with the possibility of travel to any Jantrakakikaki branch across the region. Whether you are a fresh graduate from an automotive program or an experienced technician, you will find a supportive environment that values precision, safety, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Execute front‑end disassembly and re‑assembly according to the Kapten Mekanik’s instructions and established SOPs.
- Diagnose suspension, steering, and related chassis issues using both visual inspection and diagnostic tools.
- Operate and maintain workshop equipment such as hydraulic presses, spooring‑balancing machines, and impact wrenches.
- Perform routine cleaning and preservation of vehicles, parts, tools, and workstations to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Document all work performed, including parts used, torque settings, and any deviations from standard procedures.
- Collaborate with teammates to prioritize jobs, share knowledge, and uphold quality standards.
- Provide clear explanations to customers or service advisors regarding repair findings and recommended actions.
- Assist in inventory control by reporting low stock of critical components and suggesting reorder points.
- Participate in continuous training sessions on new vehicle technologies, safety protocols, and efficiency improvements.
- Undertake additional tasks assigned by management, such as supporting special projects or covering shifts during peak periods.
Requirements
- Male candidates only; willing to travel (rolling) to any Jantrakakikaki branch in Java‑Bali.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; automotive or mechanical focus preferred.
- Age not exceeding 30 years.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with front‑end (kaki‑kaki) systems; fresh graduates with strong technical training are also welcome.
- Active SIM C driver’s license (SIM A is a plus).
- No severe myopia or visual impairments that could affect safety.
- Proficient knowledge of suspension, steering, shock absorbers, tie‑rods, ball joints, bushings, and related components.
- Skilled in using workshop tools: hydraulic press, spooring‑balancing equipment, impact wrench, and standard hand tools.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a disciplined team.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills for interaction with supervisors, peers, and customers.
