Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Porter Layanan Tamu Hotel dan Restoran to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role is essential for creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring that every visitor experiences seamless service from the moment they arrive. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced environment, supporting both hotel and restaurant operations while upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a warm smile, assist with luggage, and escort them to their rooms or dining areas.
  • Maintain the lobby, corridors, and service areas by sweeping, mopping, and ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to report any maintenance issues, missing amenities, or guest requests promptly.
  • Handle the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, ensuring tables, chairs, and equipment are arranged according to event specifications.
  • Assist kitchen and restaurant staff by transporting supplies, dishes, and clean linens between service areas.
  • Monitor and restock common area amenities such as brochures, magazines, and welcome kits.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, restaurant menus, and local attractions to guests in a courteous manner.
  • Work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to meet the 24‑hour service demands of the property.
  • Adhere to safety and security protocols, including proper handling of guest belongings and emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Document daily activities and report any incidents or unusual occurrences to the front‑office supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (or SMA equivalent for entry‑level candidates).
  • Age: Open to candidates up to 30 years old.
  • Gender: Female (per company policy) – however, all qualified individuals are encouraged to apply.
  • Religious affiliation: Preference for Christian candidates, reflecting the cultural context of the location.
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written, with a clear and friendly tone.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow directions from supervisors.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to work rotating shifts (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
  • Positive attitude, high level of personal integrity, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided to the right candidate.
