Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and results‑driven Merchandiser for the Lampung region to join our fast‑growing retail network. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our products are consistently available, well‑displayed, and promoted across all MCP outlets in the area. The successful candidate will act as the bridge between our supply chain and the end consumer, driving sales through meticulous outlet management, effective ordering, and strategic promotional activities.
The position is based in Lampung and requires daily travel to multiple retail locations. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, possess a valid motor vehicle license (SIM C), and thrive in a dynamic, target‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily visits to assigned MCP outlets to assess stock levels, shelf presentation, and compliance with merchandising standards.
- Generate and submit accurate order forecasts, ensuring timely replenishment of products to prevent out‑of‑stock situations.
- Identify and open new retail outlets, collaborating with local managers to meet expansion targets and increase market penetration.
- Execute in‑store promotions, product sampling, and visual merchandising initiatives that stimulate consumer interest and boost sales.
- Maintain detailed visit reports, including sales performance, inventory status, and feedback on consumer preferences.
- Provide training and guidance to outlet staff on product features, pricing strategies, and promotional execution.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends, reporting insights that can inform pricing, placement, and promotional tactics.
- Ensure all merchandising activities comply with company policies, safety regulations, and brand guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA) or vocational equivalent (SMK) or comparable.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a merchandiser or in a similar field within the consumer goods sector.
- Valid motor vehicle ownership and a current SIM C driving licence.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and translate findings into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; must be comfortable interacting with store owners, managers, and consumers.
- High level of integrity, self‑motivation, and a willingness to embrace challenges and continuous learning.
- Physical fitness to handle frequent travel and the demands of a full‑day schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00).
