We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Mitra Kurir Motor in Padang (Koto Tangah). This role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parcels within a designated area, supporting the rapid growth of the e‑commerce and logistics sector in West Sumatra. As a motorcycle courier, you will be the face of our service, representing our commitment to speed, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Pick up parcels from senders and deliver them to recipients within the assigned route, adhering to scheduled pick‑up and drop‑off windows.
- Verify package contents, condition, and labeling before transport to prevent errors or damage.
- Utilize Google Maps or other navigation tools to plan efficient routes, avoid traffic congestion, and meet delivery timelines.
- Maintain clear communication with the operations center via a smartphone, providing real‑time updates on delivery status and any issues encountered.
- Inspect and maintain your motorcycle, ensuring that registration (STNK), tax, and insurance are current and that the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Handle cash‑on‑delivery (COD) transactions securely, if applicable, and document all financial exchanges accurately.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service, addressing recipient inquiries and resolving minor concerns on the spot.
- Report any accidents, vehicle issues, or delivery discrepancies to the supervisory team promptly.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting route optimizations or process enhancements based on field experience.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18–50 years old.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C) with an active motor vehicle registration and tax for at least three months from the date of application.
- Own a well‑maintained motorcycle.
- Smartphone (Android) with at least 4 GB RAM and Android version 10.0 – 16.0.
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and reading maps.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
- Strong time‑management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
- Physical stamina to ride a motorcycle for extended periods and handle parcels of varying sizes.
