Introduction
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Officer Accounting & Finance to join our fast‑growing team. This role is ideal for a young professional (female, 19‑25 years) with a solid foundation in accounting or financial management and at least one year of practical experience in a dynamic environment such as an agency, startup, or creative industry. The successful candidate will support the finance department by ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely financial reporting, and strict compliance with internal controls while thriving under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, verify, and post daily journal entries, invoices, and expense claims using accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash accounts, and inter‑company balances on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, follow up on overdue payments, and support cash‑flow forecasting.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audit cycles, providing required documentation and explanations.
- Maintain and update the chart of accounts, ensuring proper classification of all transactions.
- Support budgeting and variance analysis by gathering data from various departments and highlighting key trends.
- Implement and improve internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline month‑end close processes, reducing turnaround time.
- Prepare ad‑hoc financial analyses and reports for senior management as needed.
Requirements
- Female candidate aged between 19‑25 years.
- Minimum educational qualification: D3 or S1 in Accounting, Finance, or Financial Management.
- At least 1‑2 years of relevant experience, preferably in an agency, startup, or creative‑industry setting.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
