Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cost control, and strategic insight into our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, provide guidance on accounting policies, and support senior management with data‑driven decision making.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Indonesian GAAP and relevant regulatory standards.
- Analyze raw material costs, maintain detailed inventory records, and ensure proper valuation of production inputs.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting models, including HPP (Harga Pokok Penjualan), SO (Stock Opname), and other cost‑of‑goods‑sold calculations.
- Coordinate with procurement and production departments to reconcile material usage, waste, and variance reports.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, and data modeling) to streamline reporting processes and improve data accuracy.
- Lead the month‑end close process, ensuring all journal entries, accruals, and adjustments are posted timely.
- Monitor and control corporate expenditures, preparing budgets and forecasts that align with strategic objectives.
- Mentor junior accountants, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and high performance.
- Communicate financial findings clearly to non‑financial stakeholders, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and statutory tax obligations.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in corporate accounting, preferably within manufacturing or cost‑intensive industries.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis tools, and macro development.
- Demonstrated knowledge of raw material costing, HPP calculations, stock opname procedures, and overall cost accounting principles.
- Excellent teamwork abilities and a collaborative mindset to work effectively across departments.
- Clear, concise communication skills—both written and verbal—tailored to diverse audiences.
- Proven capability to manage company expenditures, budget preparation, and financial forecasting.
- Familiarity with various accounting domains such as corporate accounting, cost accounting, Islamic accounting, and management accounting.
