Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Pembantu Operasional Pabrik (Factory Operations Assistant) to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Kulon Progo. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates who possess a strong physical build, a willingness to work in a shift‑based environment, and a commitment to teamwork. As an essential member of the production floor, you will support daily operations, ensure material flow, and help maintain a safe and efficient workplace.
Responsibilities
- Assist in loading, transporting, and unloading raw materials and finished goods, routinely handling loads up to 30 kg.
- Operate basic material‑handling equipment such as hand trucks, pallets, and conveyor belts under supervision.
- Support the production line by preparing workstations, refilling supplies, and ensuring tools are readily available.
- Perform routine cleaning and housekeeping duties to keep the factory floor free of hazards and compliant with safety standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors and fellow operators to coordinate shift handovers and maintain accurate production logs.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to the maintenance team.
- Participate in regular safety briefings, fire drills, and emergency response exercises.
- Assist in inventory checks, tagging, and storage organization to minimize waste and support lean manufacturing principles.
- Adapt quickly to changing production schedules, including overtime or weekend shifts when demand spikes.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18 – 50 years.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational policy).
- At least 1 year of experience in a factory, warehouse, or similar physically demanding environment.
- Strong physical condition with the ability to lift and carry items weighing approximately 30 kg repeatedly.
- Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule (including weekends).
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team, following instructions and supporting colleagues.
- Quick adaptability to new tasks, tools, and safety procedures.
- Basic literacy and numeracy for reading work orders and recording data.
- Commitment to punctuality, reliability, and maintaining a clean work area.
