Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of guest rooms, ensuring all surfaces, bathrooms, and furnishings meet the highest standards of hygiene.
- Refresh linens, replace towels, and restock complimentary items such as toiletries, coffee supplies, and minibar inventory.
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to verify completeness, report any maintenance issues, and coordinate with the engineering team for prompt resolution.
- Respond to guest requests in a timely and courteous manner, including extra pillows, room service items, or special cleaning needs.
- Maintain accurate housekeeping logs and communicate room status updates to the front‑desk and supervisory staff.
- Assist in deep‑cleaning projects, such as carpet shampooing, window washing, and seasonal turnover of public areas.
- Follow all safety and infection‑control protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate closely with fellow housekeeping team members to ensure efficient workflow and coverage during peak occupancy periods.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new cleaning technologies, sustainability practices, and guest‑service excellence.
Requirements
- Active university student or fresh graduate from a relevant field (e.g., Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration).
- Genuine interest in the hospitality or hotel industry and a desire to build a career in this sector.
- Strong communication skills; proficiency in English is a distinct advantage.
- Professional appearance and a commitment to presenting a polished image to guests.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High level of discipline, responsibility, and self‑initiative.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, with shift hours from 08:00 to 17:00.
