Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Petugas Keamanan Lingkungan (Satpam) to join our security team and ensure the safety and orderliness of our facilities. This role is essential in safeguarding personnel, assets, and visitors across a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in security principles, a professional demeanor, and the ability to respond swiftly and responsibly to any situation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized access and ensure a safe environment for employees and visitors.
- Control entry and exit points by verifying identification, logging visitors, and managing vehicle movements.
- Conduct regular patrols—both foot and vehicle—across assigned zones to detect and address potential hazards.
- Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) and promptly report any suspicious activity to the security supervisor.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, providing first‑aid assistance and coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
- Prepare accurate incident reports, maintaining detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and actions taken.
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and local regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Collaborate with other security personnel, facilities staff, and management to develop and improve security protocols.
- Participate in regular training sessions and drills to stay current with the latest security techniques and legal requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Valid Satpam (Gada Pratama) certification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a security or related role (experience is a strong advantage).
- Maximum age of 40 years; candidates must be in good physical and mental health, supported by a recent medical certificate.
- Clean criminal record with no pending legal issues.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proportional physique and stamina to perform patrols and handle physical tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact courteously with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong sense of discipline, integrity, attention to detail, and responsibility.
- Capability to work under pressure, adapt quickly to changing situations, and make sound decisions in emergencies.
- Professional etiquette, honesty, and respect for confidentiality and company policies.
