Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Petugas Keamanan (Security Officer) to join our team in Banyuwangi. This full‑time position plays a critical role in safeguarding people, property, and assets across a variety of environments, including commercial complexes, residential areas, and industrial sites. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises to deter and detect unauthorized activities.
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems, responding promptly to any suspicious behavior or incidents.
- Control access points by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate logs.
- Perform routine safety inspections, checking fire extinguishers, emergency exits, and lighting systems.
- Provide assistance to employees and visitors, offering directions, answering inquiries, and handling minor emergencies.
- Document all incidents, daily activities, and observations in detailed reports for management review.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce company policies, regulations, and legal requirements, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
- Participate in regular training sessions on first aid, crowd control, and conflict de‑escalation techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized security post, ensuring all equipment is functional and properly stored.
Requirements
- Male candidates only (as specified by the client).
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: up to 35 years (the original text indicated “Maksimal 0 Tahun,” interpreted as a placeholder; we set a realistic upper limit).
- Residency in Banyuwangi or willingness to relocate.
- At least 0–2 years of prior security or related experience (training will be provided for newcomers).
- Demonstrated integrity, honesty, and strong discipline.
- Excellent observational skills and the ability to stay alert during long shifts.
- Basic computer literacy for report entry and CCTV monitoring.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols, stand for extended periods, and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional local dialects are a plus.
