This role is essential in supporting chefs, ensuring a hygienic environment, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our Food & Beverage operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate industrial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently to clean plates, glasses, cutlery, and cooking utensils.
  • Manually wash delicate items when required, ensuring no damage and maintaining presentation standards.
  • Sort, inspect, and store clean dishes in designated areas, adhering to inventory control procedures.
  • Maintain strict sanitation protocols, including regular cleaning of workstations, sinks, and waste disposal areas.
  • Assist kitchen staff by removing used cookware, prepping basic ingredients, and replenishing supplies during service peaks.
  • Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
  • Participate in daily deep‑cleaning cycles, floor scrubbing, and waste segregation to meet health‑code regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions and consistent workflow.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements that enhance speed, quality, and cost‑effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: 35 years old or younger.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Prior experience in the Food & Beverage sector is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills; ability to interact politely with colleagues and guests.
  • Friendly, approachable demeanor with a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent teamwork capabilities and willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
