Introduction
We are seeking diligent and reliable individuals to join our fast‑growing logistics team in West Jakarta (Jakarta Barat). The position is split into two critical functions – Picker and Packer – that together ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered on time. This role is ideal for candidates with a minimum of a junior high school education (SMP/MTS) who are comfortable working in a warehouse environment, can follow detailed instructions, and are eager to develop a career in supply‑chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Order Monitoring (Picker): Continuously monitor incoming orders through the warehouse management system, print inventory pick tickets, and locate items within the storage area.
- Item Retrieval (Picker): Retrieve items according to the printed pick tickets, verify quantities, and place them in the designated staging area while maintaining accuracy.
- Barcode Scanning (Packer): Scan each product’s barcode to confirm it matches the order specifications, reducing errors before packing.
- Packaging (Packer): Pack items securely following company standards, select appropriate packaging materials, and label packages correctly for shipment.
- Driver Coordination (Packer): Use the internal system to alert drivers of ready shipments, attach packages to the driver’s tote, and hand over the load efficiently.
- Documentation: Complete all required paperwork, update order status in the system, and ensure that any discrepancies are reported to the shift supervisor.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Follow all safety protocols, keep work areas tidy, and report any hazards or equipment issues promptly.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on workflow bottlenecks and suggest process enhancements to improve order throughput.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational policy).
- No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions with precision.
- Basic computer literacy for operating order monitoring and scanning systems.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and walk throughout the warehouse.
- Strong communication skills to interact with drivers and team members.
