Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Professional Pet Grooming Specialist to join our dynamic team at a modern grooming facility located in the vibrant PIK 2 district. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive grooming services for dogs and cats in accordance with company standards, including:
- Basic and medicated baths
- Blow‑drying and thorough brushing
- Hair trimming and styling tailored to customer requests
- Nail clipping and filing
- Ear cleaning and ear canal care
- Sanitary trimming of sensitive areas
- Maintain the comfort, safety, and well‑being of each animal throughout the grooming process.
- Observe and identify skin conditions, parasites (fleas, ticks), fungal infections, or minor health concerns, and promptly report findings to the supervisor.
- Sanitize and sterilize all grooming tools and equipment after each use to uphold hygiene standards.
- Keep the grooming area impeccably clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Provide a concise post‑grooming report to owners, highlighting the pet’s condition, any observations, and after‑care recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to manage workflow, schedule appointments, and handle walk‑in clients efficiently.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with the latest grooming techniques, pet health guidelines, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional grooming experience; experience with large‑breed dogs and cats is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic grooming and styling techniques, nail clipping, ear cleaning, and sanitary trimming.
- Personal Qualities:
- Comfortable handling dogs and cats of various temperaments.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for animal health indicators.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work in the PIK 2 area.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and occasional holidays.
