Introduction

As a frontline ambassador of Amartha, you will combine on‑the‑ground prospecting with client support, ensuring that new borrowers understand the benefits of our loan programs and that existing members receive continuous economic guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential new borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door outreach, community events, and referrals to promote Amartha’s micro‑loan offerings.
  • Provide personalized economic coaching to household members, helping them manage cash flow, budgeting, and repayment planning.
  • Conduct thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s internal credit policies, risk guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports on borrower profiles, loan eligibility, and market trends to support the credit underwriting team.
  • Manage the full cycle of loan collection, including timely reminders, on‑site payment collection, and escalation of delinquent accounts according to standard procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions in the company’s CRM system, updating status, notes, and follow‑up actions.
  • Collaborate with the regional operations manager to develop targeted outreach strategies, monitor performance metrics, and suggest improvements.
  • Represent Amartha professionally in the community, building trust and reinforcing the brand’s commitment to financial inclusion.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  • Age between 18 and 30 years (maximum 33 years preferred for senior candidates).
  • All genders are welcome; female candidates are given priority but not required.
  • Possession of a personal vehicle is mandatory for daily field visits.
  • Strong integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and disciplined work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain financial concepts in simple terms.
  • Resilience and the physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • No prior experience required; however, previous exposure to sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with basic digital tools (smartphone, GPS, and data entry applications) for real‑time reporting.
