Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in the vibrant city of Sidoarjo. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of assigned premises, identifying potential hazards and reporting any irregularities promptly.
- Monitor surveillance systems, access control points, and alarm panels, responding swiftly to any breaches or emergencies.
- Enforce company policies, visitor registration procedures, and security protocols while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Provide immediate assistance during incidents such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or unauthorized entry, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Prepare detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handover documentation to ensure continuity and accountability.
- Perform routine checks of safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, first‑aid kits, and emergency exits, and notify maintenance for any deficiencies.
- Support crowd management during events, deliveries, and high‑traffic periods, ensuring orderly flow and compliance with safety regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions, drills, and certifications to stay current with industry best practices and emerging security technologies.
Requirements
- Male candidate, maximum age of 45 years.
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a security or related safety role; prior experience in a similar industrial or commercial setting is preferred.
- Physically fit with the ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly for extended periods; must pass a basic fitness assessment.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, based on operational needs.
- Resident of Sidoarjo or surrounding areas, with reliable transportation to report for duty promptly.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to write clear reports.
- Demonstrated integrity, reliability, and a customer‑service oriented attitude.
- Basic knowledge of security equipment, emergency response procedures, and first‑aid concepts.
