Introduction
We are seeking a passionate Professional Artist in Contemporary Visual Arts to join our dynamic creative team. Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, develop, and execute original artwork using ceramics, painting, drawing, and sculptural techniques.
- Collaborate with designers, curators, and fellow artists to create cohesive collections for galleries, museums, and commercial clients.
- Conduct material research, test new ceramic glazes, firing processes, and hand‑crafting methods to push artistic boundaries.
- Prepare detailed sketches, technical drawings, and production plans that translate creative ideas into tangible works.
- Manage studio workflow, including inventory of tools, supplies, and safe handling of kilns and hazardous materials.
- Present concepts and finished pieces to internal stakeholders and external partners, articulating the artistic vision and technical choices.
- Mentor junior artists and interns, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages skill sharing and continuous learning.
- Maintain documentation of all projects, including photography, process notes, and provenance records for future reference and exhibition catalogs.
- Participate in client meetings, community outreach, and educational workshops to promote the value of contemporary visual arts.
- Adhere to project timelines, ensuring all deliverables meet quality standards and are completed within the agreed schedule.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 16:00.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts, Ceramic Arts, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Strong interest and demonstrable experience with ceramic materials and hand‑crafted techniques.
- Proficiency in traditional art methods such as painting, drawing, or carving, combined with a modern aesthetic sensibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting ideas and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, contributing positively to a creative studio culture.
- High level of creativity, problem‑solving aptitude, and the willingness to experiment with new concepts and processes.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn emerging technologies, digital tools, and contemporary art trends.
- Age: Maximum 35 years.
