Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Senior Accounting Specialist – Corporate Finance to join our fast‑growing finance team. Working Monday through Friday, you will be immersed in real‑world financial operations, supporting senior managers and contributing to the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post daily journal entries, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Assist in the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, including account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts, verifying the accuracy of transactions and identifying any discrepancies.
- Support the corporate finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow analysis to aid strategic decision‑making.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional departments (procurement, sales, HR) to collect necessary financial data and resolve accounting issues.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records, adhering to internal controls and audit requirements.
- Utilize Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to create spreadsheets, pivot tables, and financial models that streamline reporting.
- Participate in internal and external audit activities, providing requested schedules and explanations in a timely manner.
- Continuously improve processes by suggesting automation opportunities and best‑practice enhancements.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and interns, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a focus on Accounting (SMK Jurusan Akutansi) is required.
- Experience: No prior work experience required, but internships or coursework in accounting are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; familiarity with basic accounting software is advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy, disciplined work ethic, and excellent communication abilities.
- Personal Traits: Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team‑oriented setting; eagerness to learn and adapt quickly.
