Introduction
Roso Lawas Group, a dynamic and rapidly expanding hospitality brand in Indonesia, is seeking enthusiastic and customer‑focused individuals to join our service team as Waiter / Waitress. This position is open for both male and female candidates and offers the chance to work across any of our popular locations – Roso Lawas, Gaia Osteria, and Soeka Rasa. If you have a minimum of one year experience in food and beverage service, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work on holidays, we would love to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests, present menus, and answer basic questions about dishes and beverages.
- Accurately take food and drink orders, relay them to the kitchen and bar, and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor table status, replenish condiments, and maintain a clean, organized dining area.
- Handle payment transactions, issue receipts, and process credit card authorizations with precision.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate smooth service flow.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of utensils and equipment.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining rooms for special events, private parties, or seasonal promotions.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, upsell specialty drinks, and ensure each guest feels valued.
- Respond promptly to guest feedback, resolve minor issues on the spot, and communicate larger concerns to management.
- Participate in regular staff briefings, training sessions, and team‑building activities to continuously improve service quality.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age not exceeding 28 years.
- At least 1 year proven experience in the F&B industry, preferably in a fast‑paced restaurant or café.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Strong teamwork orientation – ability to cooperate with colleagues and support a harmonious work environment.
- Quick adaptability to new menus, POS systems, and shifting service demands.
- Professional demeanor with a friendly, customer‑centric attitude.
- Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and during peak periods.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays of food and beverages safely.
