We are seeking a diligent and reliable Sorter Gudang Ekspedisi for our busy warehouse in Semarang (Randur). This entry‑level position is ideal for individuals who are motivated, physically fit, and eager to start a career in logistics and supply chain management. The role involves handling inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate sorting of parcels, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against delivery documents.
- Sort packages and parcels by destination, size, and priority using manual and automated systems.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and containers while adhering to safety protocols.
- Label, tag, and record items in the warehouse management system to ensure traceability.
- Maintain clean and orderly work zones, including the removal of debris and proper storage of tools.
- Assist in inventory counts and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with drivers, supervisors, and other warehouse staff to meet daily dispatch targets.
- Participate in regular safety briefings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
- Follow the prescribed dress code and wear personal protective equipment at all times.
- Report equipment malfunctions or workplace hazards promptly to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: 18 – 45 years.
- Gender: Male (as per current operational needs).
- Valid Indonesian KTP (Identity Card).
- Good physical health and mental stamina to handle a 9‑hour workday.
- Personal bank account for salary deposits.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for documentation.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and maintain focus in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong teamwork orientation and respectful communication with colleagues.
- Willingness to adhere to the uniform policy: short‑sleeve collar‑less T‑shirt, pocket‑less shorts, and lace‑up shoes.
