We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Specialist Marketplace and Business Development to join our fast‑growing e‑commerce team. In this role you will be the driving force behind our presence on major Indonesian marketplaces such as Shopee, TikTok Shop, Tokopedia, and others. If you have a keen eye for product presentation, a solid understanding of online sales strategies, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, we want you on board.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize multiple storefronts across Shopee, TikTok Shop, Tokopedia, and additional platforms, ensuring brand consistency and compliance with marketplace policies.
- Upload product listings, craft compelling titles and descriptions, and apply SEO best practices to improve organic visibility and search ranking.
- Plan, execute, and monitor marketplace promotional campaigns, flash sales, and seasonal discounts to boost traffic and conversion rates.
- Handle customer inquiries via chat, email, and marketplace messaging tools, providing timely, courteous, and solution‑focused support.
- Analyze sales data, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as GMV, conversion rate, and average order value, and generate weekly reports for senior management.
- Identify and recommend new product opportunities based on market trends, competitor analysis, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with the logistics and inventory teams to ensure accurate stock levels, fast order fulfillment, and minimal out‑of‑stock situations.
- Continuously test and refine pricing strategies, bundling options, and cross‑selling tactics to maximize profitability.
- Maintain a meticulous record of marketplace fees, advertising spend, and promotional costs to support budgeting and forecasting.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest marketplace algorithm changes, advertising tools, and industry best practices, sharing insights with the wider team.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA) / SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience managing seller accounts on Indonesian marketplaces.
- Demonstrated success in increasing online sales volume and achieving target‑oriented results.
- Strong knowledge of SEO techniques for product listings and marketplace advertising platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage customers professionally via chat.
- Detail‑oriented mindset, capable of managing large inventories and ensuring data accuracy.
- Analytical aptitude – comfortable interpreting sales dashboards, extracting insights, and presenting actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with analytics tools such as Shopee Ads, Tokopedia Boost, or TikTok Shop Ads is a plus.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and adapt to occasional peak‑season overtime.
