Introduction
BNI Life, the leading life insurance arm of Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), is seeking dynamic and results‑driven individuals to join our growing Bancassurance network as Spesialis Bancassurance (Bancassurance Specialist). The successful candidates will be stationed in one of several branch locations in the Sulawesi Tenggara region – KCP Konawe Selatan, KCP Kolaka Utara, KCP Konawe Utara, KCP Bombana, or KCP Kolaka Timur. This role focuses on the promotion and sale of individual life‑insurance products to BNI’s retail customers, leveraging the strong brand equity of both BNI and BNI Life.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for life‑insurance products within the assigned BNI branch, aligning targets with corporate revenue goals.
- Conduct proactive prospecting activities, including cold calls, client visits, and participation in branch‑level events to generate qualified leads.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and personalized insurance proposals that address the financial needs and risk profiles of individual customers.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales pipelines, and policy issuance using the BNI Life CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with branch managers, tellers, and relationship managers to cross‑sell insurance solutions during routine banking transactions.
- Provide post‑sale service, ensuring smooth policy issuance, answering client queries, and facilitating claims assistance when needed.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes, market trends, and competitor offerings to continuously refine sales tactics.
- Participate in regular training sessions, product workshops, and performance reviews to improve personal and team effectiveness.
- Build and nurture long‑term relationships with both internal stakeholders (BNI staff) and external clients, fostering trust and brand loyalty.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; candidates with a D3 or S1 degree in any discipline are also encouraged to apply.
- Age between 20 and 35 years (for SMA/SMK candidates) or 22 to 35 years (for D3/S1 candidates).
- At least 1 year of experience in financial services marketing; preferably 2 years in insurance or bancassurance sales.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a customer‑centric mindset.
- Professional appearance and well‑groomed presentation.
- Demonstrated interest in sales and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Not listed as an active member of the Indonesia Financial Services Authority (AAJI) – ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi‑disciplinary branch team.
