Introduction

Bina Artha Ventura, a leading micro‑finance institution in Sumatra, is expanding its field team and is looking for dynamic individuals to join as Account Officer – Cabang Sitinjo & Sidikalang (Domisili). This role is centered on providing financial services to grassroots entrepreneurs, primarily women from low‑ to middle‑income backgrounds, helping them launch or grow their small businesses. The position is field‑based, requiring regular visits to client locations, group meetings, and close collaboration with local partners. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00, and will become part of a supportive, growth‑focused corporate family.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential partners, focusing on women entrepreneurs who seek capital to start or expand micro‑enterprises.
- Organize and lead the formation of productive groups, typically consisting of ten women, to foster peer support and collective borrowing.
- Disburse micro‑loans tailored to the specific needs of each partner, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies.
- Provide ongoing coaching and business development guidance, helping partners improve cash flow, inventory management, and marketing strategies.
- Maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with all partners, serving as their primary point of contact for queries and support.
- Coordinate bi‑weekly collection meetings, collect loan installments, and record payments accurately.
- Prepare regular field reports, update client databases, and communicate performance metrics to the regional office.
- Participate in community outreach events to raise awareness of Bina Artha Ventura’s financing products.
- Collaborate with internal teams—risk, compliance, and training—to continuously improve service delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Work experience: 0‑2 years (fresh graduates with strong motivation are welcome).
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
- Basic marketing abilities to promote loan products and attract new members.
- Problem‑solving aptitude for addressing client challenges and finding practical solutions.
- Ability to work independently in remote areas, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel daily.
- Proficiency in using mobile applications and basic office software for reporting.
