Responsibilities
- Identify and engage prospective borrowers by conducting door‑to‑door outreach, community events, and referral networking to expand Amartha’s lending portfolio.
- Provide on‑site economic counseling and financial education to member households, helping them understand budgeting, savings, and the benefits of micro‑credit.
- Conduct thorough field surveys and feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s risk‑assessment framework, internal policies, and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare detailed reports on applicant eligibility, collateral evaluation, and repayment capacity, and submit recommendations to the underwriting team.
- Manage the end‑to‑end collection process, including reminder calls, in‑person visits, and coordination with the collections department to maintain healthy portfolio performance.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date field data in the company’s CRM system, documenting client interactions, loan status, and any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with local partners, community leaders, and NGOs to promote Amartha’s mission and secure joint initiatives that increase financial literacy.
- Participate in weekly team meetings, share field insights, and contribute ideas for improving the loan onboarding and servicing processes.
- Uphold Amartha’s code of conduct by demonstrating integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all client interactions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years accepted for experienced candidates).
- Both male and female applicants are welcome; female candidates are preferred.
- Possession of a personal vehicle with valid driving license for daily field travel.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust with diverse community members.
- High level of integrity, honesty, attention to detail, resilience, and discipline.
- Willingness to work on‑site in Cirebon Raya every weekday, with flexibility for occasional weekend activities.
- Prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, community outreach, or related fields is a plus, but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Basic digital literacy and ability to use mobile applications for data entry and reporting.
