Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Teknisi NOC (Network Operations Center) to join our growing team in Malang. This role is critical for maintaining the health, performance, and security of our client‑facing and internal networks. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced environment, monitoring network devices, responding to alerts, and collaborating with engineers to resolve incidents both remotely and on‑site. This position offers a stable schedule (Monday‑Saturday, 07:00‑16:00) and the opportunity to develop advanced networking skills while supporting a diverse portfolio of customers across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance 24/7 using tools such as PRTG, Zabbix, The Dude, or equivalent platforms, ensuring SLA compliance.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve network incidents—including latency, packet loss, and connectivity issues—through remote troubleshooting and, when required, on‑site visits.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routing and switching equipment from vendors like MikroTik and Cisco, applying best practices for VLAN, subnetting, and routing protocols.
- Implement and manage firewall policies, VPN tunnels, and NAT configurations to safeguard data traffic and support secure remote access.
- Maintain accurate documentation of network topology, change logs, and incident reports to facilitate knowledge sharing and audit compliance.
- Collaborate with senior network engineers, security analysts, and service desk teams to escalated issues, ensuring swift resolution and minimal downtime.
- Participate in regular capacity planning, performance tuning, and network optimization activities to prepare the infrastructure for growth.
- Provide clear, concise communication to stakeholders during incident handling, including status updates and post‑incident reviews.
- Adhere to company policies, including the requirement to perform the five daily prayers, demonstrating respect for cultural and religious practices.
- Willingness to relocate or travel outside Malang for on‑site assignments, supporting regional clients as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (or S1) in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience as a NOC technician, Network Engineer, or similar role. Fresh graduates with strong internship experience are also welcome.
- Solid understanding of core networking concepts: TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching, and subnetting.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting MikroTik, Cisco, or comparable network devices.
- Knowledge of firewall technologies, VPN solutions, and network monitoring principles.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as PRTG, Zabbix, The Dude, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose complex network problems quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- High level of discipline, honesty, responsibility, and professional work ethic.
- Male candidates only (as specified by the client).
- Commitment to perform the five daily Islamic prayers.
- Flexibility to work on‑site in locations outside of Malang when required.
