Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Staff Accountant – Finance & Reporting to join our dynamic finance team. This full‑time position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting month‑end close processes, and maintaining the integrity of our accounting data. The successful candidate will work closely with senior accountants, auditors, and cross‑functional partners to deliver timely and compliant financial statements that drive strategic decision‑making.
The role is based in our Jakarta office, operating Monday through Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, and offers a collaborative environment where continuous learning and professional growth are encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and IFRS.
- Enter journal entries accurately into the accounting system, ensuring proper classification and supporting documentation.
- Verify the completeness and validity of financial transaction documents, such as invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and inter‑company account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings, statutory reports, and regulatory submissions.
- Support the month‑end and year‑end close processes, including accruals, adjustments, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with the treasury team to monitor cash flow, manage cash positioning, and forecast short‑term liquidity needs.
- Maintain and improve internal controls related to financial reporting and data integrity.
- Provide analytical support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reviews.
- Participate in internal and external audits, supplying required schedules and explanations.
- Continuously seek process improvement opportunities, leveraging automation tools and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1–2 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Solid understanding of core accounting concepts, accrual accounting, the full accounting cycle, and financial statement preparation.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Accurate, or similar ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic proficiency in English.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.
