Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Staf Layanan Penumpang (Crew Service) to join our dynamic passenger service team. This frontline position plays a crucial role in ensuring that every traveler experiences a safe, comfortable, and pleasant journey from the moment they step onto our platform until they reach their destination. The successful candidate will work in a fast‑paced environment, collaborating closely with fellow crew members, operations staff, and management to maintain high service standards and uphold the brand’s reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist passengers with ticketing, boarding procedures, and baggage handling in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Provide clear, multilingual information about schedules, routes, and safety protocols.
- Monitor the cabin and waiting areas to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with health‑safety regulations.
- Operate the store management system to process sales, refunds, and inventory updates for on‑board merchandise.
- Handle passenger inquiries, resolve minor complaints, and escalate complex issues to supervisors promptly.
- Coordinate with the operations team to adjust service flow during peak periods, delays, or emergency situations.
- Perform routine checks of safety equipment, emergency exits, and communication devices before each shift.
- Maintain accurate shift logs, incident reports, and passenger feedback records.
- Participate in regular training sessions on customer service excellence, first‑aid, and crisis management.
- Support fellow crew members by sharing workloads, covering breaks, and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
Requirements
- Maximum age: 40 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; candidates currently enrolled in higher education are not preferred.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in passenger service, hospitality, or retail environments.
- Proven ability to work quickly, accurately, and with a high level of diligence.
- Strong teamwork orientation with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness to work the designated shift of 14:00 – 01:00 WIB, Monday through Saturday.
- Familiarity with store management or point‑of‑sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
