Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Engineer to join our Technology Department. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and safety of our building facilities, playground equipment, and related mechanical systems. The successful candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain high standards of operational excellence, support continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to a safe, efficient environment for both employees and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, including both high‑voltage (arus kuat) and low‑voltage (arus lemah) installations.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical faults in building infrastructure and amusement equipment.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation and servicing.
- Operate and maintain a wide range of technical tools and equipment, such as multimeters, insulation testers, and power hand tools.
- Coordinate with the facilities management team to schedule downtime, plan work orders, and minimize disruption to daily operations.
- Document all maintenance activities, generate detailed service reports, and update asset registers in the company’s CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Participate in shift rotations, including weekends and public holidays, to provide 24/7 coverage for critical systems.
- Support continuous improvement projects by recommending upgrades, energy‑saving measures, and best‑practice procedures.
- Mentor junior technicians, sharing knowledge on safety protocols, electrical standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMK/D3 in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Power Systems, HVAC, or a related technical field.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in technical operations or facility maintenance, preferably in a building or playground environment.
- Proven ability to install, test, and repair both high‑ and low‑voltage electrical circuits.
- Strong familiarity with technical tools and the ability to conduct preventive maintenance on building infrastructure and ride machinery.
- Competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills with a systematic approach to troubleshooting equipment failures.
- High level of attention to detail, disciplined work ethic, and a collaborative team‑oriented mindset.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure continuous operational support.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic proficiency in English.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate company vehicles when required.
