Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive growth for our fertilizer, seed, and palm oil (sawit) portfolio across North Sumatra, West Sumatra, Jambi, and Bungo, with the primary placement in Kota Pinang. This role is ideal for a results‑oriented professional who thrives on building lasting customer relationships and has a deep understanding of the agribusiness landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing an existing client base, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of our strategic plans.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new leads while establishing a recurring customer base in the target regions.
  • Develop and maintain a robust lead pipeline to consistently achieve monthly sales targets and forecast revenue.
  • Proactively source prospects through field visits, industry events, digital outreach, and direct engagement strategies.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from initial contact and needs analysis to proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with growers, plantation managers, and distributors, ensuring high engagement throughout the sales journey.
  • Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and technical support teams to align product offerings with customer requirements and guarantee smooth implementation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service that focuses on both acquisition and retention, using a consultative approach to solve client challenges.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics to recommend actionable strategies that maximize revenue.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance dashboards for senior management review.
  • Support revenue‑driven initiatives outlined in the company’s Business Plan, including promotional campaigns and new product launches.
  • Maintain a personal vehicle for frequent travel to client sites, ensuring timely follow‑up and on‑ground presence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline; a background in agronomy, agriculture, or business is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within the agribusiness or palm oil sector.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and generating measurable business opportunities.
  • Extensive network of contacts in the palm oil industry, including growers, traders, and input suppliers.
  • Strong analytical skills – capable of conducting competitive analysis, market trend assessment, and sales data interpretation.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and comfortable working independently as well as within cross‑functional teams.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and a customer‑centric mindset.
  • Ownership of a reliable personal vehicle for regional travel.
  • Flexibility to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:30 – 17:30, with occasional weekend or evening engagements for key client meetings.
