Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Team Leader Sales Promoter to oversee and drive sales activities in the Lamongan area. This pivotal role combines hands‑on field work with strategic leadership, ensuring that our promotional programs achieve their targets while fostering strong relationships with merchants and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be a results‑oriented professional with a proven track record in retail sales, team management, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute area‑specific sales plans that align with overall company objectives and quarterly targets.
  • Conduct daily visits to merchants, establishing and nurturing relationships with store PICs (persons in charge) to maximize product visibility and sales opportunities.
  • Oversee the proper placement of POP (point‑of‑purchase) materials, ensuring brand consistency and promotional compliance across all outlets.
  • Coordinate with partner operational teams to gather intelligence on competitor activities, market trends, and on‑ground challenges.
  • Lead, coach, and supervise a team of 15‑20 Sales Promoters, providing clear direction, performance feedback, and motivation.
  • Monitor daily activities and performance metrics of promoters, generating reports that highlight achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Design and deliver regular training sessions, refresher courses, and on‑the‑job coaching to enhance product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service skills.
  • Analyze sales data and market feedback to propose actionable insights that drive program adjustments and growth.
  • Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours while adhering to labor regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of promotional spend, inventory of POP materials, and expense reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a diploma or higher is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales promotion, field marketing, or related financial services (e.g., insurance, unit trusts).
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing a team of 10+ members.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in social media marketing.
  • Analytical mindset—ability to interpret sales data, conduct market analysis, and generate performance reports.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for data tracking and reporting.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends (Monday‑Saturday, 11:00‑20:00).
  • Gender: Open to all candidates.
  • Age: No upper limit; candidates must meet the minimum experience requirement.
