This role focuses on the installation, diagnosis, and maintenance of vehicle audio systems, alarm and power‑window modules, as well as electrical wiring across a wide range of car makes and models. Responsibilities
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, and repair of car audio equipment, including head units, speakers, sub‑woofers, and amplifiers.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to alarm systems, remote keyless entry, and power‑window mechanisms.
- Conduct comprehensive electrical wiring inspections, identify short circuits, and replace faulty components to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, service manuals, and technical bulletins to guide repairs.
- Collaborate with service advisors to provide accurate time estimates and cost quotations for customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized workbench and ensure all tools are calibrated and stored properly.
- Document all service activities in the shop management system, including parts used and labor hours.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive electronic technologies, aftermarket products, and industry best practices through regular training and certification programs.
- Assist in mentoring junior technicians, sharing knowledge on diagnostic procedures and safe work practices.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations while handling electrical components and hazardous materials.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent technical diploma.
- Male candidates only (as specified by the client).
- At least 0‑2 years of hands‑on experience with automotive audio, alarm & power‑window systems, and vehicle electrical wiring.
- Strong foundational knowledge of automotive electrical circuits and diagnostic tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, scan tool).
- Proven ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal team members.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in confined vehicle interiors.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and certification (e.g., ASE, OEM training).
