Introduction
The Teller Cabang Lamandau – Kalimantan Barat is a frontline banking position located in the bustling branch of our financial institution in West Kalimantan. As a teller, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing accurate, courteous, and efficient service for a wide range of daily transactions. This role offers an excellent entry point for fresh graduates or individuals with up to one year of relevant experience who are eager to build a career in the financial services industry.
Responsibilities
- Process customer payments for loan installments, utility bills, and other scheduled transactions.
- Facilitate the disbursement of non‑transfer NDS financing products and manage petty‑cash withdrawals.
- Promote and cross‑sell banking products such as savings accounts, credit cards, and fee‑based income programs to existing clientele.
- Accept and accurately record cash received from cross‑sell activities, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Maintain the teller drawer, balance cash at the end of each shift, and reconcile any discrepancies promptly.
- Provide clear explanations of product features, fees, and terms, helping customers make informed financial decisions.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, etc.) to generate reports, update transaction logs, and support branch administration.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in all customer interactions.
- Assist with additional branch duties such as opening new accounts, handling inquiries, and supporting senior staff during busy periods.
Requirements
- Educational background: Minimum D3 (Associate degree) from any discipline with a GPA of 2.50 or higher; candidates with a high school diploma (SMA/SMK) are also considered for entry‑level positions.
- Age: Must be 26 years old or younger (maximum 29 for certain pathways).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Work experience: Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with up to 1 year of experience in a similar banking or retail cash handling role are preferred.
- Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Personal attributes: Attractive appearance, meticulous attention to detail, honesty, strong communication skills, and the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Availability: Willing to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
