Responsibilities
- Prepare, dispense, and label medications in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
- Verify physician orders, check for drug interactions, and ensure appropriate dosage forms for each patient.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to replenish essential medicines.
- Assist senior pharmacists in compounding sterile preparations, such as intravenous admixtures, following aseptic techniques.
- Participate in the medication reconciliation process during patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Educate patients and their families on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements.
- Support the pharmacy’s quality assurance program by documenting incidents, participating in audits, and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including doctors, nurses, and laboratory staff—to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
- Adhere to shift schedules, working Monday through Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00, and respond promptly to urgent medication requests.
- Stay current with emerging pharmaceutical guidelines, hospital policies, and continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or D4 in Pharmacy (D3 Farmasi).
- Active and valid STRTTK (Pharmacy Practice Registration) license.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; no prior professional experience required.
- Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and a commitment to patient safety.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm, perseverance, and a proactive work ethic.
