Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Waiter to join our Customer Service Team. This front‑line position plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. The ideal candidate will combine a friendly demeanor with strong attention to detail, ensuring that every order is served promptly and accurately while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and answer any questions about the menu items, specials, or dietary accommodations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using a point‑of‑sale (POS) system, and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve meals and drinks in a courteous and timely manner, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing cutlery, and resetting stations for the next service.
- Handle cash transactions, process credit card payments, and accurately prepare checks.
- Collaborate with fellow team members, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations, including proper handling of allergens and temperature controls.
- Respond to guest complaints or special requests with professionalism, aiming to resolve issues quickly and positively.
- Participate in briefings and training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, promotional offers, and service standards.
- Assist with inventory checks and restocking of supplies such as napkins, condiments, and beverage stations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 22 years or older.
- Gender: Female (preferred) – however, male candidates will also be considered based on qualifications.
- Excellent personal presentation: neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times.
- Strong discipline and reliability; punctuality is essential for the shift schedule.
- Ability to work the designated shift of 06:00 – 14:00 WIB and be flexible for occasional adjustments.
- Quick learner with a positive attitude toward acquiring new skills and adapting to changing service demands.
- Proven capability to perform effectively under pressure, especially during busy service periods.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, including proper plating, serving etiquette, and beverage preparation.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Team‑player mindset with a willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a harmonious workplace.
