Introduction

BNI Life, the leading life insurance subsidiary of Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), is seeking a dynamic Spesialis Bancassurance to join our team at the Kotamobagu branch network. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between BNI Life and BNI Bank outlets, driving the sales of individual bancassurance products and delivering a seamless, customer‑centric experience. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a quarterly sales plan for life insurance products within assigned BNI branch locations (KCP Paris Mall, Totabuan, and KCP Lolak).
  • Conduct proactive prospecting, lead generation, and client outreach to introduce BNI Life’s portfolio, including term life, endowment, and health riders.
  • Perform detailed needs‑analysis consultations, presenting tailored insurance solutions that align with each customer’s financial goals.
  • Maintain a pipeline of prospects using CRM tools, ensuring accurate tracking of follow‑ups, policy quotations, and closing activities.
  • Collaborate closely with branch managers and BNI sales teams to integrate insurance offerings into the bank’s overall product suite.
  • Deliver regular product training and briefing sessions for bank staff to increase cross‑selling effectiveness.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders (bank personnel, compliance officers) and external partners (clients, brokers, notaries).
  • Stay up‑to‑date on regulatory changes, market trends, and competitive offerings to provide insightful feedback to product development teams.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and branch sales targets, contributing to the overall profitability of the bancassurance channel.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, highlighting key metrics such as policy count, premium volume, and conversion rates.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) for entry‑level; Bachelor’s (S1) or Diploma (D3) candidates from any discipline are also encouraged.
  • Age: 20 – 35 years.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of sales experience; preferably 2 years in financial services or insurance marketing.
  • Gender: All genders are welcome.
  • Key Skills: Strong communication and presentation abilities, persuasive negotiation techniques, customer‑focused mindset, and the ability to work independently within a team.
  • Professional appearance, punctuality, and a clean record with the Indonesia Financial Services Authority (AAJI) – candidates must not be listed as active.
  • Demonstrated interest in sales and a willingness to continuously improve through training and certification programs.
