Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve premium coffee drinks, including espresso, pour‑over, cold brew, and specialty latte art, adhering to exacting taste and presentation standards.
- Maintain consistent beverage quality by calibrating grinders, brewing equipment, and monitoring water temperature and pressure.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences, provide personalized recommendations, and educate them about coffee origins and brewing methods.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, ensuring timely re‑ordering to avoid stockouts.
- Perform daily cleaning and routine maintenance of espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices to guarantee optimal performance and hygiene.
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours, supporting a smooth workflow and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Assist in training new baristas on standard operating procedures, coffee preparation techniques, and customer service excellence.
- Uphold health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, conducting regular checks and reporting any equipment issues promptly.
- Contribute ideas for menu development, seasonal promotions, and community events to enhance the café’s brand presence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Perempuan (female).
- Age: Maximum 30 years (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- Prior experience as a barista is a plus but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and customers.
- High level of honesty, discipline, and personal responsibility.
- Passion for coffee culture and a desire to master barista techniques, including latte art.
- Basic numeracy for cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive motions safely.
