Introduction
SPX Express, a leading logistics and supply‑chain solutions provider in Indonesia, is seeking a proactive and technically‑savvy Manajer Facility Management for its headquarters and warehouse complex in Sunter, North Jakarta. The successful candidate will be responsible for guaranteeing that all office and warehouse environments operate at peak efficiency, supporting the company’s mission to deliver fast, reliable, and secure services to its customers across the region.
This full‑time position reports directly to the Operations Director and offers a dynamic work schedule from Monday to Friday, 09:30 – 18:30, with occasional travel to other SPX Express sites as required.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance Oversight: Supervise daily upkeep of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair systems across office and warehouse spaces, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Schedule Management: Develop, implement, and track preventive‑maintenance calendars; coordinate repairs and renovation projects while maintaining comprehensive activity logs.
- Facility Inspections: Conduct regular, detailed inspections of all SPX Express facilities to verify compliance with safety standards, identify improvement opportunities, and generate actionable reports.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Source qualified external service providers, evaluate quotations, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to guarantee cost‑effective and timely project delivery.
- Security Coordination: Oversee access‑control systems, CCTV surveillance, and alarm installations, ensuring the security of personnel, assets, and information.
- Emergency Response Planning: Design and periodically test emergency response and business‑continuity plans, including fire evacuation, power‑outage protocols, and natural‑disaster contingencies.
- Budget & Cost Control: Prepare annual facility‑management budgets, track expenditures, and recommend cost‑saving measures without compromising service quality.
- Team Leadership: Lead a small team of technicians and maintenance staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, vendor contracts, safety inspections, and compliance certifications for internal audit and regulatory review.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience in Facility Management, preferably within a fast‑paced logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facility Management, or a related discipline from an accredited university.
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and a high sense of accountability for results.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills for effective vendor and contractor management.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to evolving operational demands.
- Willingness to travel between multiple SPX Express sites and work on‑site at the Sunter location.
- Male candidates (as per current company policy) with a minimum of a S1 education level.
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English communication for reporting and coordination.
