Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Guest Service Agent to join our front‑desk team on a daily‑worker basis. This role is pivotal in delivering memorable experiences to our guests, ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards of our hospitality brand. The position operates Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for service, strong communication abilities, and a willingness to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage the check‑in and check‑out processes efficiently, and ensure all guest information is accurately recorded.
  • Handle reservation inquiries, modifications, and cancellations both in person and via phone or email, using the property management system (PMS) to maintain up‑to‑date booking data.
  • Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, transportation options, and dining venues, acting as a knowledgeable concierge.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve complaints with professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and food‑and‑beverage departments to fulfill guest needs, such as room changes, special amenities, or maintenance repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment, including the front‑desk work area, brochures, and promotional materials.
  • Process cash, credit, and electronic payments accurately, and prepare end‑of‑day reports in accordance with hotel policies.
  • Adhere to safety and security procedures, including verification of guest identification and monitoring of access to restricted areas.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to upsell services, such as room upgrades, spa packages, or dining reservations, contributing to the hotel’s revenue goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor’s degree) in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least one (1) year of proven experience as a Guest Service Agent or in a comparable front‑desk role within the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Fast learner who can adapt quickly to new software systems, standard operating procedures, and evolving guest expectations.
  • Resilience under pressure, maintaining composure during peak check‑in times or when handling complex guest issues.
  • Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and property management software.
