Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Junior Remedial Field (FIF) to join our collections team. This entry‑level position is ideal for candidates who are eager to develop a career in field collections, debt recovery, and customer relationship management. The role involves direct interaction with consumers who have outstanding instalment payments, and it requires a blend of persuasive communication, diligent record‑keeping, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Successful candidates will be based in the assigned territory, equipped with a personal motor vehicle and a valid SIM C, and will be expected to meet daily and weekly collection targets while adhering to company SOPs and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct timely and accurate collection of overdue instalments from consumers based on data provided by the company.
- Perform field visits to consumer addresses to follow up on payment commitments and verify contact information.
- Initiate reminder calls, WhatsApp messages, and in‑person discussions to inform customers of upcoming due dates and overdue balances.
- Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, or restructuring options in line with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain daily and weekly collection reports, updating the CRM system with contact outcomes, payment confirmations, and any disputes.
- Ensure all collection activities comply with the company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), as well as relevant consumer protection laws and ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with the back‑office team to resolve discrepancies, document exceptions, and provide feedback for process improvement.
- Develop a strong understanding of the geographical area of assignment, including local traffic patterns, key landmarks, and community dynamics, to optimize visit efficiency.
- Participate in regular training sessions and performance reviews to continuously enhance negotiation skills and product knowledge.
Requirements
- Male candidate, maximum age of 34 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in field collections, sales, or customer service; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Own a motor vehicle with a valid SIM C license and the ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Strong target‑orientation with a proven ability to meet or exceed collection goals.
- Excellent verbal communication—clear, assertive, and capable of handling difficult conversations with professionalism.
- Detail‑oriented mindset for accurate data entry, reporting, and documentation.
- Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to negotiate mutually beneficial payment arrangements.
- Basic proficiency with mobile communication tools (phone, WhatsApp) and familiarity with standard office software for report generation.
