Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty drinks in strict accordance with company SOPs, ensuring consistency and taste excellence.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the service area, espresso machines, grinders, and all related equipment throughout each shift.
- Take customer orders accurately, operate the POS system, handle cash and card transactions, and issue receipts promptly.
- Collaborate closely with teammates and shift leaders to guarantee smooth operational flow during peak hours.
- Participate in regular training sessions, product tastings, and skill‑building workshops led by the Leader or Supervisor.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and disposables, and alert the manager when supplies need replenishment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, personal hygiene, and emergency procedures.
- Provide friendly, responsive service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving minor complaints with professionalism.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1–2 years of practical experience working as a barista or in a similar FnB role.
- Strong passion for coffee culture and a quick learning ability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: warm, communicative, and customer‑service focused.
- Basic proficiency in English is a plus, especially for handling tourist orders.
- Demonstrated discipline, reliability, and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a high‑tempo environment while maintaining attention to detail.
