Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Cashier (Kasir) to join our bustling Randuagung branch. This front‑line position is essential to delivering a seamless shopping experience for our customers. You will be the face of the store, handling transactions, assisting shoppers, and ensuring that our cash handling processes are accurate and efficient. The role operates Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Process all customer purchases quickly and accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments while adhering to company cash‑handling policies.
- Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, prepare cash‑up reports, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Provide friendly, courteous service, answer product questions, and guide customers to appropriate departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area, ensuring that receipts, bags, and promotional materials are stocked.
- Assist with inventory checks, price tag updates, and shelf‑stocking during quieter periods.
- Identify and report any suspicious activity or potential theft to store management.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily sales targets and promotional goals.
- Operate under pressure during peak hours while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with new POS features and company policies.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in a cash handling or retail environment.
