We are seeking a motivated and courteous Part‑time Waiter to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions regarding dishes, ingredients, and daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using handheld POS systems, and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve meals and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Monitor tables throughout service, anticipate guest needs, refill drinks, and address any concerns immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing cutlery, and ensuring dining spaces are ready for the next service.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing, special dietary requests, and any modifications.
- Process payments accurately, issue receipts, and handle cash or card transactions following company policies.
- Participate in pre‑service briefings, post‑service debriefs, and regular training sessions to stay updated on menu changes and service standards.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and emergency procedures.
- Provide feedback to management on guest preferences, operational challenges, and opportunities for service improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA) or equivalent (SMK).
- Gender: Female candidates are preferred for this specific posting.
- At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant, café, or similar food‑service environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work with honesty, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Proven experience or strong interest in the culinary field, including knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic proficiency in English is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, carry trays, and navigate a busy dining floor.
- Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to support colleagues during peak periods.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating totals.
