Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager – Strategic Project Management to join our fast‑growing civil engineering division. This senior‑level position is responsible for overseeing complex, high‑impact infrastructure projects from concept through delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will combine solid technical expertise in civil engineering with strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle for strategic construction projects, including feasibility studies, design development, permitting, procurement, construction, and close‑out.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust plans as needed.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams of engineers, drafters, quantity surveyors, and subcontractors, fostering collaboration and ensuring clear communication of expectations.
- Prepare, review, and manage the Bill of Quantities (RAB) and cost estimates, utilizing Excel and specialized estimating software to maintain financial control.
- Produce and review technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory standards and client specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and quality audits to identify potential issues early and implement corrective actions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and government agencies, delivering timely status reports and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Mentor junior engineers and drafters, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up‑to‑date, and archived according to company policies.
- Continuously seek process improvements and innovative solutions to increase efficiency and reduce project costs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 or S1 in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience managing construction or civil engineering projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, MS Office, and construction cost estimating tools (RAB Bangunan).
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate volume calculations and building design drafts.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Proven leadership qualities: proactive, resilient, trustworthy, and capable of motivating teams under pressure.
- High integrity, honesty, and a strong work ethic; willingness to go the extra mile to meet project milestones.
- Good attitude, results‑oriented mindset, and ability to stay on target despite changing project dynamics.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
