Responsibilities
- Perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment, including noodle machines, fryers, stoves, cup sealers, refrigeration units, and HVAC systems.
- Diagnose and resolve basic electrical and plumbing issues that arise during daily operations, minimizing downtime.
- Replace faulty components, calibrate tools, and conduct safety checks on all kitchen machinery to guarantee optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate daily logs that detail completed work, identified problems, parts used, and recommended corrective actions.
- Uphold a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company safety protocols and local occupational health regulations.
- Collaborate closely with supervisors and other team members to prioritize tasks, coordinate repairs, and support special projects such as equipment upgrades or seasonal menu changes.
- Assist in the training of junior maintenance staff and provide guidance on proper equipment handling.
- Conduct periodic inspections of civil structures, plumbing networks, and electrical panels to anticipate potential failures before they occur.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a vocational diploma in Civil, Electrical, or Air‑Conditioning (Tata Udara) engineering.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on maintenance experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or similar fast‑service environment.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with basic maintenance tools and measurement instruments (current meters, voltage testers, resistance meters, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanical systems, and plumbing basics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: honest, disciplined, responsible, loyal, creative, hard‑working, proactive, innovative, and highly dedicated.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for reporting to supervisors and collaborating with kitchen staff.
