Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Mekanik Motor Sepeda to join our dedicated service team in the Bojongsari and Parung areas. This full‑time position offers a dynamic work environment where you will interact directly with customers, support fellow technicians, and ensure that every motorcycle leaves our workshop running smoothly. The role is ideal for individuals who are diligent, honest, disciplined, and passionate about motorcycle mechanics.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of motorcycle issues, from engine performance to electrical systems.
- Identify and order the correct spare parts needed for each repair, ensuring timely availability for both customers and fellow mechanics.
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts, updating stock levels and reporting shortages to the workshop manager.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain technical findings, recommended repairs, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate effectively with other technicians, sharing knowledge and assisting on complex jobs to promote team success.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotations with precision and speed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, workshop cleanliness standards, and company policies while working independently or as part of a team.
- Document all work performed in the shop’s management system, including parts used, labor hours, and final outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with new motorcycle models, emerging technologies, and best‑practice repair techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to vehicle pickup.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only (as specified by local labor regulations).
- Age: up to 30 years old (maximum acceptable age for this role).
- At least basic experience or strong willingness to learn motorcycle mechanics (0+ years accepted).
- Demonstrated honesty, diligence, and strong discipline in previous work or academic settings.
- Solid understanding of motorcycle spare parts, their functions, and proper installation procedures.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to explain technical information to non‑technical customers.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel and work at our service locations in Bojongsari and Parung.
- Basic computer literacy for logging work orders and inventory management.
