Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the mall premises, including parking areas, entrances, and back‑of‑house zones, to deter theft, vandalism, and other security threats.
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to alarms or suspicious activities in real‑time, escalating to senior security personnel when necessary.
- Enforce access control policies, verify identification badges, and manage visitor logs to ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted zones.
- Provide assistance to shoppers and tenants, offering directions, handling inquiries, and delivering a courteous customer‑service experience.
- Document incidents thoroughly by completing written reports, logging events in the security management system, and preserving evidence for potential investigations.
- Coordinate with local law‑enforcement agencies during emergencies, providing clear communication and support during investigations.
- Participate in regular safety drills, including fire evacuation and active‑shooter simulations, to maintain readiness.
- Maintain the security equipment inventory, ensuring radios, flashlights, and other tools are functional and properly stored.
- Uphold company policies regarding grooming standards, specifically the prohibition of body piercings and visible tattoos, to present a professional image.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: Candidates must be 35 years old or younger.
- Gender: Male candidates only.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven security experience, preferably in a retail or commercial environment.
- Certifications: Active GP (Guard Permit) and KTA (Security Personnel Card) required.
- Residence: Must reside in Malang or surrounding areas to ensure punctuality and local knowledge.
- Physical Appearance: No body piercings or visible tattoos; clean‑cut appearance is mandatory.
- Skills: Strong observation, quick decision‑making, effective communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Availability: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00.
