Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Surveyor & Verifier to join our dynamic team in Cirebon. This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of field data that underpins our engineering, construction, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, design engineers, and local authorities to conduct site surveys, verify measurements, and compile comprehensive reports. You will be expected to travel to various project locations, operate your own vehicle, and adhere to a Monday‑through‑Saturday work schedule (08:00‑17:00).
Responsibilities
- Perform on‑site topographic and as‑built surveys using total stations, GPS equipment, and laser scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of existing drawings, construction documents, and as‑built records against field observations.
- Collect, process, and analyze spatial data to produce detailed survey reports, maps, and digital models.
- Coordinate with project engineers and architects to resolve discrepancies and ensure design compliance.
- Prepare and submit daily progress logs, quality control checklists, and variance analyses to senior management.
- Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments, ensuring they meet industry standards and safety regulations.
- Assist in the development of cost estimates and material take‑offs based on verified measurements.
- Provide technical support during construction phases, offering real‑time data to resolve on‑site issues.
- Engage with local government agencies to secure permits and comply with zoning or environmental requirements.
- Continuously improve surveying methodologies by staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field; S1 degree preferred.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in field surveying or verification work.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for site travel.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
- Proficiency in survey software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey findings clearly to multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail‑oriented mindset with a commitment to high‑quality data integrity.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Physical fitness to conduct field work in varying weather conditions and terrain.
