Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a thorough knowledge of daily specials and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems, ensuring any dietary restrictions or special requests are clearly communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve dishes and beverages promptly, adhering to proper plating standards and timing to maintain the flow of service.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and billing processes efficiently as the primary cashier during assigned shifts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including table setting, linen management, and periodic sanitization of service areas.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, sommeliers, and fellow servers to coordinate multi‑course meals and special events.
- Respond calmly and professionally to guest inquiries or complaints, turning potential issues into positive experiences.
- Assist with opening and closing duties such as stock checks, cash reconciliation, and preparing the dining room for the next service.
- Participate in regular training sessions on menu updates, service etiquette, and safety protocols.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and occasional evening shifts, to meet the restaurant’s operational needs.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: 28 years or younger; single status preferred to accommodate flexible scheduling.
- Gender: Female.
- Prior experience as a waiter or waitress is highly preferred, though motivated newcomers with a strong service mindset are welcome.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, initiative, and quickness in task execution.
- Professional appearance and impeccable personal hygiene.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong composure under pressure, especially during peak dining periods.
- High sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Basic proficiency in cash handling and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
